Our biggest fundraiser of the year, and all money collected from car parking goes directly to Southern River HC to support the 2027 season.

Here’s what you need to know before arriving:

What to Bring:
– Sunscreen
– Hat
– Water bottle
– Snacks
– Closed shoes
– Mozzie spray
– Headtorch or torch (if you're volunteering at night)
– Club supporters shirt (please wear it proudly!)

Car Parking Details:
– Cars are directed to the entrance
– Electronic pay point at the entrance ($10 per vehicle)
– Cash also accepted
– Flyers to hand out promoting Southern River HC
– Volunteers will be stationed throughout the carpark to guide vehicles to open bays
– One person will be positioned at the bottom of the park to ensure cars park tightly in the first round
– Club bibs will be available for high-vis visibility
– The carpark fills quickly—after the initial rush, it’s about managing flow and guiding cars into available spots

Cleanup Duties:
– Bags and gloves will be provided
– Tasks include general rubbish pickup across the showgrounds
– Fireworks debris cleanup—bring a rake if possible
– Night cleanup requires a headtorch or torch
– Sunday cleanup includes removing hay from the farm animal area
