About Juniors

Southern River Hockey Club welcomes junior players of all ages and abilities. We provide a supportive, inclusive environment with opportunities for players ranging from experienced competitors to those new to the game. Southern River Hockey Club competes in the Junior Competition. Grading for teams takes place during the pre-season, with opportunities for players to trial for higher grades.

We have teams in the following grades:

J 5/6 Boys & Girls
J 7/8 Boys & Girls
J 9/10 Boys & Girls
J 11/12 Boys & Girls

2026 Season Details

Season Training

Season training for the 2026 season will commence in March at the Southern River Hockey Club with weekly sessions on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Current Training Times for 2026 are below. Commencement date to be advised.

J 5/6 - Thursdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm
J 7/8 - Thursdays 4:30pm - 5:30pm
J 9/10 - Tuesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm
J 11/12 - Thursdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm
