Dear Southern River HC Members,

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is nearly here, and we need your help to make it a success.

Southern River Hockey Club has been invited to assist with car parking and event cleanup at the Kelmscott Agricultural Show, running from Friday 17 to Saturday 18 October. Volunteers will be responsible for directing cars to open parking bays, cleaning up after the fireworks, and picking up rubbish around the fairgrounds.

This is more than just a volunteer opportunity—it’s a direct way to support our club. All money collected from parking goes straight to Southern River HC , helping fund operations and improvements for the 2026 season.

It’s also the final chance to earn points toward discounted fees through our
2025 Club Volunteer Incentive Program.

Volunteer Dates: Thursday 17 – Sunday 19 October
Location: Kelmscott Showgrounds
Volunteer Roles:
– Direct cars to open parking bays during arrival times
– Post-fireworks cleanup
– General rubbish collection around the grounds All ages welcome
