Junior Training Commences

April 5th, 2007 by Janson Hoskins

The Southern River Hockey Club has commenced training for all juniors on Thursdays at Les Sands Pavilion in the Sutherlands Park Sporting complex on Gay Street Gosnells.

Training will commence at 5.00pm and will be co-ordinated by the club’s Junior Development Officer Fred Keane and will be assisted by a Junior Coaching panel.

Players from age groups ranging from under 11 through to under 15 will be catered for and the club has announced that at least one extra team will take to the field this year.

This will bring the number of teams of young Hawks to three and further demonstrates the growth of hockey in the Gosnells region and the remarkable progress made by the club in only its second year.

Further information on the Southern River Hockey club can be obtained when Junior Training Commences or the Junior Development Officer Fred Keane on 0409139005.
