Details for The Hawks registration day for 2007 are:

• Venue: Club Rooms, Les Sands Pavilion in Gay Street, Southern River
• Teams: Senior and Juniors – Male and Female

The Southern River Hockey Club is please to announce that pre season training for both juniors and seniors is about to resume. Following on from the outstanding success of the club in its in augural year that culminated in the Grand Final victory for the Metro 3C , a registration day for all players will be held at the Les Sands Pavilion in Gay Street Gosnells on Saturday 17th February commencing at 11.00am.

The Hawks are particularly keen to build on the remarkable growth achieved by the club last year by attracting new members both young and old. The club is seeking to add at least another senior Mens side as well as increasing Junior participation to include ages ranging from under 11 through to under 17. It is also proposed to field a womens side this year and prospective new players are encouraged to attend the Registration day.

The pre-season campaign this year will be co ordinated by John Heath and a training camp at Myalup in the south west has already been planned for the weekend 2-4 February and all members both current and prospective are encouraged to attend. Numbers are limited and the weekend is a perfect opportunity to shed some unwanted kilos as well as getting fit for the upcoming season. The Hawks will commence training in the week following the camp at the Les Sands Pavilion with the co operation of the Gosnells Cricket Club and times and dates will be notified as soon as possible.
